Karveli means ‘loaf of bread’ in Greek and everything begins there. Simple, honest, handmade. Since 2017, we have been waking up at dawn to bake Kampala’s bread, craft its pastries, and cook its meals from scratch using European techniques and local Ugandan ingredients. Whether it’s your morning croissant, a family Sunday lunch, or a celebration cake designed just for you, everything that leaves our kitchen is made with the same care as our first loaf.
We are a Ugandan-owned business that values warmth, honesty, craft, and community. We believe in real ingredients, no shortcuts, and the patience to make everything properly, because good food deserves a good community and is meant to be shared.
